Multi Hazard Emergency Response Specialist

This role is part of a multi-hazard emergency response team that provides fire prevention, preparedness and response services to communities across the state.
As a firefighter, you will be responsible for:
- Responding to emergency situations such as fires, rescues and medical emergencies;
- Conducting regular training exercises to maintain skills and stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and equipment;
- Participating in community education and outreach programs to raise awareness about fire safety and prevention;
- Maintaining equipment and vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition;

- A strong understanding of firefighting principles and practices;
- The ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations;
