Emergency Response Officer

An exciting opportunity exists for an Emergency Response Officer who works collaboratively with the emergency response team and other key stakeholders to prepare, prevent, respond and recover from major incidents particularly regarding fire safety.

**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Develop, coordinate and deliver evidence-based education, training and exercises to SCHHS and SCUH partners to build operational capability and readiness for health disasters and emergencies with a specific focus on fire safety.
- Maintain national and international fire safety and emergency response best practice knowledge.
- Provide expert advice and direction regarding fire safety legislation and standards and National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHSS), to ensure compliance and successful accreditation of the SCHHS.
