Procurement Officer Role

As a critical team member of the procurement services group, you will oversee routine procurement projects and manage contracts. Your key capabilities include:

  • Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure effective risk management, probity, and transparency.
  • Administering routine contracts in line with the Queensland Government Contract Management Framework.
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with clients, vendors, and staff to deliver responsive procurement services.
  • Executing operations within SAP Master Data, Vendor Maintenance, and purchase order creation/amendment processes.
  • Collaborating with a professional procurement team and undertaking additional tasks as directed by supervisors or directors.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. This is an opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to take on a challenging role in procurement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

A degree in business administration, commerce, or a related field is preferred but not essential. Relevant experience in procurement or a related field can be advantageous.
