Role Overview

This is a Senior Category Specialist position within the Strategic Procurement team.

The role involves procuring high-value goods and services, developing strong relationships with key stakeholders, and driving strategic procurement outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and drive procurement strategies to align with business objectives.
  • Develop supplier relationships and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Owning procurement outcomes, identifying and solving problems to drive commercial value.
  • Navigate complex stakeholder interactions, ensuring expectations are managed and procurement best practices are upheld.
Skill Requirements
  • Strong leadership skills and commercial acumen.
  • Proven experience with high-volume procurement, tender processes, contract negotiations, and supplier management.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and emotional intelligence to build trust and manage expectations.
  • Strategic problem-solving ability to interpret business issues and develop commercially sound solutions.
