Job Title: Engine Technician
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Engine Technician to join our team in Tamworth, New South Wales. As an integral member of our Service Workshop, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our engine diagnostic and repair services.
Main Responsibilities:- Apply documented procedures and policies to complete complex repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools.
- Disassemble, inspect, clean and reassemble engines and/or engine components.
- Perform preventative maintenance based on assessment of engines.
- Assist more experienced technicians with diagnostics and development of repair plans for engines in the workshop.
- Complete required documentation, such as work completed documents, time sheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
- Complete training in line with skill and business requirements.
- Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
- Adhere to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues/incidents to their supervisor.
