Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining food preparation and service areas in a clean and hygienic state.

You will work closely with other personnel to ensure successful teamwork and adhere to workplace health and safety standards.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity working 70 hours per fortnight, not including weekends but including public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain all food service equipment and surfaces in a clean and hygienic state.
  • Operate food preparation equipment while adhering to safe food handling requirements.
  • Collaborate with other personnel to ensure successful teamwork.
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety standards.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a team environment and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

You will also need to have a good understanding of safe food handling practices and be able to operate food preparation equipment safely.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $57,130 to $59,443 per annum pro rata, plus superannuation contribution.
