We are seeking a dynamic Relief Manager to provide operational support across our aged care villages in the Goulburn/Bathurst region.
This is a multi-site opportunity that will be responsible for relieving our Community Managers and Village cooks in times of absence, including the day-to-day management of the Community, asset enhancement, financial and people management, resident satisfaction, risk and legislative compliance.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to move into a full-time long-term career as a Community Manager. You will be offered ongoing support and development opportunities as our portfolio of communities continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities- Community Management: Ensure the Community is always providing quality services to residents in line with industry best practice and/or as directed by management.
- Asset Enhancement: Ensure the Community is presented to a high standard by attending to cleaning/upkeep and Community building/kitchen cleanliness and compliance.
- Staff Management: Manage staff, residents, and visitors who attend the Community.
- Site Audits: Conduct and report on site audits (including kitchen) to ensure the appropriate standards are being maintained.
- Resident Support: Provide support to residents by ensuring their health and wellbeing is a key focus.
- Occupancy Growth: Actively strive to increase occupancy in line with budgets.
- Community Engagement: Engage key community contacts to promote the Community and drive business outcomes.
- Event Management: Support the resident community in the delivery of resident-initiated social groups and events.
- Driver's License: Current 'C' class drivers' license (site dependent).
- Administrative Skills: Excellent administrative, financial controls, and practices.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify problem areas and to use initiative and effective communication skills to resolve these issues.
- Emergency Response: Ability to respond well to emergency situations.
- Communication: Confident and proficient at reasoning with people.
- Independence: Ability to work without supervision and problem solve.
