Project Scheduler

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Scheduler to lead the management of our project schedules.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing key resource management services, including forecasting and coordinating resource supply and demand between project requirements and resource pools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage tools, reports, and dashboards required to provide accurate resource requirements across all projects and programs.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management Centre of Excellence to ensure continuous evaluation and improvement of scheduling practices are applied.
  • Lead collaboration with Project Managers and Project Coordinators in the use of scheduling tools and templates.

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience in managing project or portfolio schedules for a large corporation and/or a degree-level qualification in business, project management, or a relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in and understanding of scheduling tools, techniques, and best practices.
  • Substantial experience in effort-based scheduling and portfolio-based resource requirements reporting.
  • Considerable experience and a strong understanding of Microsoft Project.
  • Well-developed report writing skills.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional data and reporting skills with the ability to prepare datasets out of schedules for reporting purposes.
