Job Description

RINA is a multinational organization providing certification, marine classification, product testing, site supervision and vendor inspection, training and engineering consultancy services across various sectors. We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the overall operations of the Human Resources department, including full cycle recruiting, training, employee relations, employee engagement, administration of benefits, HRIS administration, and generalist duties.
  • Drive employee engagement and recognition programs to foster high employee morale.
  • Maintain accurate HRIS data entry and utilize HR systems for efficient processing.
  • Assist in talent acquisition support, job postings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Maintain organization structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, assist in enforcing policies, and participate in employee disciplinary meetings.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and other onboarding activities.
  • Manage employee personnel files and I-9 documentation.
  • Oversight of learning and development through the Learning Management System.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance Management, or Economics.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in human resources.
  • Knowledge of HR processes, compliance, and best practices.
  • Recruitment experience with engineering, consulting, or professional services field preferred.
  • Ability to work in and pull data from an HRIS system preferred.
  • Knowledge of relevant HR labor laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
