About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Adelaide. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical systems for our clients in the oil/gas and agricultural industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic use.
  • Prepare technical drawings and specifications for electro-mechanical components and systems.
  • Perform finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and structural analysis to ensure product performance and manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver products on time and within budget.
  • Estimate material and construction costs to ensure project feasibility.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 1-6 years of mechanical project experience, preferably in designing components for diesel generators or similar applications.
  • Experience with FEA, CFD, and static/dynamic loading calculations.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or other CAD systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
