Academic Lead, Physiotherapy Position

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Academic Lead to join our team at the University of Tasmania. As Academic Lead, you will be responsible for leading the Master of Physiotherapy program and collaborating with a state-wide team to design and deliver core components of allied health courses.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support students in becoming competent evidence-based practitioners
- Oversee annual quality review cycles in line with UTAS Quality Assurance, Partnerships, and Compliance policies
- Collaborate with the Departments of Health and Education, the Tasmanian Health Service, and community stakeholders
- Ensure high-quality learning experiences through a place-based curriculum in entry-to-practice and professional development courses
- Completion of a PhD Degree in a relevant health discipline (or equivalent combination of qualifications and relevant experience)
- Current registration as a Physiotherapist with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (PBA), under the auspices of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Authority (AHPRA)
- Experience and demonstrated achievement in university-level multidisciplinary learning and teaching
- A total remuneration package of up to $236,932 comprising base salary within the range of $160,555 to $202,506 plus 17% superannuation
- Relocation support may be offered to the ideal candidate
