We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. You will be part of a close-knit family of over 200 employees who value their team members and celebrate achievements together.

Job Description

As a Mechanical Refurbishment Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in disabling, refurbishing, and reassembling mechanical components according to specifications and engineering drawings. Your attention to detail and problem-solving abilities will ensure the highest quality results.

You will also have the opportunity to work with different teams, including design and engineering, to develop refurbishment plans and optimize procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of components to identify potential faults and wear, performing necessary repairs or replacements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Disassemble, refurbish, and reassemble mechanical components according to specifications and engineering drawings.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of components to identify potential faults and wear, performing necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop refurbishment plans and optimize procedures.
  • Utilize various tools and machinery to ensure precise fitting of components.
  • Maintain accurate records of refurbishment processes, materials used, and results.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company standards while executing tasks.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

Proven experience as a Fitter, with a focus on refurbishment in mechanical or engineering environments.

Strong knowledge of machinery, tools, and equipment used in the fitting process.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Proficient in using various hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with different teams.
