About the Role

SIG is a global quantitative trading firm that seeks a skilled Trading Systems Developer to join our team. As a Trading Systems Developer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing business-critical trading systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-performance trading systems that can process massive amounts of data.
  • Collaborate with traders and quantitative researchers to create competitive edge through best-in-class technical solutions.
  • Optimise systems to improve performance and latency.
  • Continuously improve the capability and reliability of the systems, using technology, automation, and optimisation.
  • Be committed to innovation with a strong interest in learning and working with new technologies.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with object-oriented languages such as C#, C++, and Python.
  • Graduates of a related field of study and have 2+ years of professional experience.
  • Problem solvers constantly seeking out new challenges.
  • Adaptability – someone who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, fluid organisational structure.
