Training and Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Training and Development Specialist to join our team and assist in delivering essential services to the community.
This role is critical to our success, and we are looking for someone who can coordinate and facilitate new starter training and upskilling of existing team members.
- The successful candidate will deliver classroom-style training programs, utilizing their administrative skills to support the smooth operation of training and planning.
- They will also provide regular updates to stakeholders on training progress and any issues relevant to on-time delivery.
- Deliver high-quality training programs that meet contractual obligations.
- Ensure timely delivery of training groups, focusing on learner experience and satisfaction.
- Conduct observation, evaluation, and assessment of learning outcomes and test results.
- Support new starters and coaches with consolidation training.
- A minimum Cert IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in supporting others to learn and develop, understanding and supporting different learning styles.
- An understanding of contact centre operations (ideally).
- Ability to establish and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Warm and inviting interpersonal style, approachable, enthusiastic, and engaging.
- High level of integrity, intuition, and Emotional Intelligence.
- Eligibility to work in State Government (with appropriate working rights).
