Key Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite Workers Compensation business to meet customer service standards and comply with underwriting guidelines and company standards.
  • Work with teams to retain and implement account plans, ensuring profitable business growth.
  • Assess risk and manage pricing to ensure accurate underwriting decisions.
  • Provide referral points to assist other underwriters.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in underwriting long tail business, either Workers Compensation or liability.
  • Knowledge and experience in Workers Compensation Underwriting NSW MF &/or Risk States (WA, ACT, NT & TAS).
  • Strong analytical capability, excellent verbal and written communication, and commercial awareness.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships, with a team player mindset.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications highly regarded but not essential.
