Job Title: Safety and Security Equipment CoordinatorJob Summary:

The Safety and Security Equipment Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the correctional facility management team by ensuring the safe storage, handling, and disposal of security equipment and hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of weapons, ammunition, chemical agents, keys, and safety equipment.
  • Ensure proper documentation for procurement and storage of sensitive items.
  • Coordinate issue and receipt of security equipment and keys.
  • Implement procedures for safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Provide risk management advice to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Manage key control systems and monitor adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Liaise with external agencies and contractors for equipment-related matters.
