Occupational Health Specialist

A Rehabilitation Consultant is a key member of our multidisciplinary team. They work closely with injured workers, employers, and medical professionals to facilitate successful return-to-work outcomes.
The role involves case management, applying clinical knowledge, and working collaboratively to develop injury prevention and education programs.
Our ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology. They will also possess excellent communication skills, compassion, and empathy.

Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments to identify client goals and develop tailored support plans;
- Collaborate with clients, employers, and medical professionals to achieve return-to-work outcomes;
- Develop and implement injury prevention and education programs;
- Provide consultancy services, including group mental health training and Psychological Functional Capacity Evaluations;
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology;
- General or Provisional AHPRA registration or Full ASORC Membership or Full AASW Membership;
- Previous experience in the occupational rehabilitation industry (desired);
- Fabulous communication skills and ability to build strong relationships;
- Compassion, empathy, and kindness;
- Well-developed time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
- Current QLD Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance.
