Tax Advisory Specialist

At KPMG, we're seeking a talented Tax Advisory Specialist to join our Corporate Tax division. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in helping businesses navigate complex tax matters and comply with ATO filing obligations.
Your Opportunity
As a Tax Advisory Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Developing strong relationships with clients and targets to understand their businesses and identify potential opportunities
- Leading multiple engagements of varying size and complexity, providing expert tax advice and guidance
- Producing high-quality tax opinions and deliverables, presenting to senior leadership teams for review
- Providing guidance and mentoring to junior tax consultants, helping them grow and develop in their careers
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Tax Advisory Specialist who can bring a unique perspective to our team. Your qualifications, skills, and experience could include:
- Previous corporate tax experience in a professional or legal services firm (in-house experience considered)
- Australian and/or other Commonwealth country tax experience
- Ability to produce well-researched and clearly articulated tax opinions
- A legal and/or commerce degree (desirable)
