Ultrasound Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced General Imaging Sonographer to take the next step into leadership.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing team in a modern, centrally located practice where patient care actually comes first.

In this role, you will perform a wide range of general ultrasound scans, lead and mentor a dedicated sonography team, help shape best practices, and work closely with radiologists and referring clinicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic outcomes.

  • Performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound across multiple specialties
  • Leading, mentoring, and supporting your fellow sonographers
  • Collaborating with radiologists, referrers, and other clinical staff
  • Ensuring patient comfort, privacy, and trust at every stage of the process
  • Helping drive quality, efficiency, and clinical standards across the department
About the Role

In this exciting opportunity, you will have the chance to develop your leadership skills and contribute to the success of our team.

You will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound scans, including MSK, obstetrics, abdo, and breast.

Previous leadership or mentoring experience is preferred but not essential.

We are looking for someone who is confident, motivated, and passionate about delivering excellent patient care.

The Ideal Candidate
  • ASAR-accredited Sonographer with a postgrad qualification in Medical Ultrasound
  • Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience
  • Excellent clinical judgement and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
