CULTURE, TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

At Riverina Milk, we are passionate about cows. Our proudly 100% Australian owned business is nestled alongside the Murray River near Corowa, NSW central to major regional centres and surrounded by fresh air, great people, and some of the best dairy cows in the country.

As our business evolves and grows, so do our people needs. That's why we've created a brand-new position for a Culture, Training & Development Manager to join our management team.

This isn't your standard office job

We need someone who's just as comfortable chatting with farmhands in the dairy and getting their hands dirty as they are sitting in a leadership meeting. Someone who asks, "How can I make your job better?" — and truly means it.

You'll be the 'go to' person for all staff across the business — supporting, listening, solving problems, and advocating for what people need to do their best work. With a workforce made up of team members from over 12 different countries operating 24 hours a day 7 days a week, you'll play a critical role in creating a workplace that is inclusive, supportive, and continuously improving.

Responsibilities
  • Be a trusted support for all staff, from new recruits to senior leaders
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, visa support, and induction processes
  • Drive performance reviews, talent development, and training plans
  • Meet regularly with staff across the business — you'll be out and about, not behind a desk
  • Champion a strong, respectful, and inclusive culture
  • Own and lead employee engagement, problem-solving, and continuous improvement
About You
  • You genuinely care about people — you're a listener, a doer, and a problem-solver
  • You're proactive, approachable, and passionate about making work better
  • You thrive in hands-on environments and love being part of the action, but possess the unique ability to combine that with administrative discipline
  • You understand that great culture isn't built in the office — it's built on the ground
  • Experience in HR, training, employee engagement, or people leadership is ideal but not essential, but most importantly, you're ready to make this role your own
