We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Corporate Affairs. This is a senior corporate communication role that offers a unique opportunity to build the University's reputation and image through effective communication and engagement programs with stakeholders from industry, government, and community.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead the implementation of a comprehensive corporate communication strategy to promote the University's mission, achievements, and major initiatives.
- Manage a committed and passionate team to deliver high-quality communication programs and services.
- Work closely with senior executives across the University to ensure alignment with the University's strategic objectives.
- Proactively manage reputational issues and mitigate risks through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide strategic advice to the Director of Communication and the University's leadership team on corporate communication matters.
We are looking for a candidate with 15+ years of experience in communication and corporate affairs roles, demonstrating the ability to lead and execute integrated corporate communication strategies that align with an organisation's priorities. Strong leadership and team management skills are essential, as is extensive experience in proactively managing reputational issues and mitigating risks.
The ideal candidate will be adept at problem-solving under tight deadlines, ensuring high-quality work and providing strategic advice. Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and advisory skills are crucial, particularly in collaborating with senior leaders to gain support for new initiatives and approaches.
