Operational Support Specialist

As an operational support specialist, you will be part of a team that manages the backbone of our organisation.

Your role will involve assisting customers with high value transactions, resolving payment exceptions to ensure efficient services, and mitigating risk by addressing cheque presentment and reconciliation issues.

You will work closely with a payments team within banking operations, who manage customer transaction disputes, manual payment requests, and exception processing.

Banking operations is responsible for all operational functions relating to customer lifecycle and deposit products, including term deposits, customer resignations, customer onboarding, and telegraphic transfers.

**About You**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 12 months experience in customer service or financial services industry
  • Experience in financial services administration is preferred but not essential
  • No formal qualifications are required
  • Professional communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Competent computer skills with high accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
