Position Overview

The Senior Researcher plays a vital role within a secretariat workgroup, delivering research, report composition, and administrative assistance to parliamentary committees. This position operates under the limited guidance of the Committee Secretary and one or more Inquiry Secretaries. Senior Researchers may be required to travel domestically to support committee activities.

The department emphasizes leadership at all levels, and it is expected that all staff demonstrate leadership qualities in their professional experiences.

Security Clearance

Designated committees will necessitate appropriate security clearances.
