Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage research projects, including designing and implementing research studies, collecting and analyzing data, and interpreting results.
  • Develop and implement research strategies to improve patient outcomes and advance the field of healthcare.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and researchers, to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare organizations, and industry partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of healthcare, and apply this knowledge to inform research and practice.

Requirements:

  • Hold Specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Meet credentialing requirements and receive an Endorsed scope of clinical practice from the Medical Dental Appointments Advisory Committee (MDAAC).
  • Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
  • Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
  • Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required.
