Job Title: Legal Counsel - Employment and Safety Law Specialist

We are seeking a skilled employment lawyer to join our team as a Legal Counsel. This role will involve providing expert advice on employment contracts, representing the company in tribunals and courts, and delivering training on employment compliance.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Advising on employment contracts, restraints of trade, entitlements, and confidentiality obligations
  • Representing the company before relevant tribunals and courts on employment matters
  • Advising on complex workplace investigations, restructures, redundancies, disciplinary actions, and employment terminations
  • Delivering training on employment and WHS compliance

About You:

  • You will be an employment lawyer with at least 5 years' experience
  • You will have a strong understanding of employment law and regulations
  • You will be a confident communicator who can engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
