Job Opportunity

This role represents a unique opportunity to lead stakeholder engagement activities, promoting renewable hydrogen education and awareness across the state.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive stakeholder engagement strategies to foster collaboration and support the adoption of renewable hydrogen technologies.
  • Prepare high-quality submissions, briefing notes, project plans, presentations, speeches, publications, reports, and correspondence as required.
  • Manage multiple competing priorities, working independently or in a team, to deliver tasks on time with high-quality outputs.

Key Accountabilities

  • Plan and manage projects using agile methodology, supporting delivery across divisional teams.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders within the department, providing consistent input to whole-of-department communication strategies and messaging.
  • Collaborate with the Communication Unit to deliver content across digital and traditional media, including social media activities.
  • Support community engagement activities associated with major policy and operational projects.
  • Identify concerns, gaps in information, emerging trends, and risks/opportunities to inform future engagements.

  • Deliver high-quality stakeholder engagement activities promoting renewable hydrogen education and awareness.
  • Manage multiple competing priorities, ensuring timely and effective task delivery.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, supporting whole-of-department communication strategies and messaging.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, project management, and communication.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage competing priorities.
