We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead to drive the technical direction of our AI/ML engineering teams. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for guiding the implementation of our technology strategy, with a focus on modern AI/ML approaches.
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time role based in Richmond. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple squads, influencing the direction and delivering high-quality outcomes for our business.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the solution architecture and design of AI-powered systems across our organisation.
- Champion the adoption of machine learning, deep learning, and foundation models.
- Align technical strategies across Engineering Managers and Senior Engineering Managers.
- Participate in defining a clear technology strategy for your area.
- Extensive experience providing technology leadership to engineering teams.
- Strong track record in developing long-term architectural strategies, particularly in AI/ML-enabled platforms.
- Highly proficient in modern cloud technologies and microservices-based design.
- Deep expertise in machine learning, with growing experience in Generative AI, large language models, and emerging AI techniques.
- Proven experience in mentoring and nurturing experienced engineers.
