Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Sourcing and Supplier Management: Identify potential suppliers, negotiate terms and agreements, and maintain relationships with existing suppliers to ensure a steady supply of materials and equipment.
- Cost Analysis: Analyse supplier pricing and terms to optimise cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock situations, while minimising carrying costs.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that purchased materials meet quality standards and work closely with production team to address any issues.
Industry qualification or similar in supply chain management, business, or a related field would be beneficial. Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management in a manufacturing setting is essential. Strong negotiation and communication skills are also required.
