Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Morning Shift Production Technician to join our team at Occulus International in Western Sydney. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely and efficiently operate and maintain production equipment to uphold high standards of product quality.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of regulatory, company, and quality systems around completion of operating logs, testing, and recording.
  • Perform operations on production equipment following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
  • Achieve specified production schedules and document any deviations from the schedule and provide reasons for the variations.
  • Ensure that all start-up and production changeovers adhere to verbal and written procedures.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in a manufacturing, processing, or production environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding technical documents and instructions.
  • Proficiency in working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Readiness to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
Requirements
  • Qualification in a relevant industry trade of 3+ years would be an advantage.
  • Strong focus on detail with proficient fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Full Australian working rights is essential.
Working Arrangements

This role is based in Western Sydney and Morning Shift – candidates must be available to start at 6am.

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary range for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
