About Delivering a Critical Infrastructure Project
We are seeking a skilled professional to manage the safe and efficient delivery of large diameter critical sewer projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed within set timeframes, budgets, and quality standards while coordinating resources, overseeing subcontractors, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Support Project Managers in delivering allocated projects safely and on-time
- Create project programs to achieve required outputs with available resources
- Monitor and review costs, invoices, and claims for allocated projects
- Contribute to constructability reviews of design development
- Evaluate and award subcontract procurement packages
- Inspect and monitor the quality and quantities of incoming equipment and materials against specifications, arranging corrections or modifications as needed
- Analyse and use document management systems to track project progress and performance, reporting non-compliances
- Demonstrate effective people management skills by managing work packages and the performance of subcontractors and our workforce
- Liaise with external parties and statutory authorities, managing their attendance on site as required
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
- Previous experience working on Sydney Water large diameter live flow sewer assets is highly regarded
- Unrestricted Drivers License
- Construction induction (White Card)
- Confined Space valid within 2 years
- Gas Test Atmospheres valid within 2 years
- Confined space rescue valid within 2 years
- Work at heights valid within 2 years
- Desirable: Experience in deep shaft access and manhole construction/rehabilitation
