We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Sustainability Reporting to join our newly established team in WA. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical advice and guidance on climate-change reporting standards and legislation, with a focus on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG).
This role offers the opportunity to drive business development, build networks, and relationships across the expanding sustainability reporting market. You will bring your existing knowledge of global reporting standards and climate-related insights to clients, playing a pivotal role in mentoring and guiding junior team members.
Your Responsibilities
- Interpret International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Australian Accounting Standards (AASB)
- Demonstrate experience in climate-change and sustainability reporting, GRI, SASB, and other global standards and reporting frameworks
- Continuously develop in-depth technical understanding of new sustainability topics
- Present on technical topics, articulating issues and impact for clients
- Deliver varied client engagements across energy & resources, government, and lead through ambiguity and complexity
- Show passion, energy, resilience, and a desire to work collaboratively with a strong client focus
- Be a qualified accountant with relevant experience; an MBA is advantageous but not essential
- Manage and lead multiple engagements simultaneously with a small team of junior consultants
- Coach and upskill junior consultants in core consulting foundations
About the Role
This exciting opportunity has an estimated salary of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
