Caring for Critically Ill Pets

Critical care and nursing expertise are required for this challenging role, working in a fast-paced veterinary environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, including vital sign monitoring and treatment adjustments as needed.
- Participate in emergency procedures, surgeries, and diagnostic processes.
- Administer medications and maintain accurate records of treatments and patient outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with the veterinary team and pet owners to ensure optimal patient care.
- Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Hold a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Have at least two years' experience in a busy general practice clinic or emergency/critical care setting.
- Demonstrate strong technical skills, including IV catheter placement, blood sampling, and anesthesia monitoring.
- Exhibit calm focus and compassion under pressure, with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for animal welfare.
