Job Opportunity:
Seeking a skilled and organized Event Coordinator to oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of community events and festivals. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the success and positive impact of these events on our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage event permits applications, consultations, and administrative tasks.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure that events are well-planned, executed, and evaluated effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality events that meet the strategic objectives of our organization.
- Develop and maintain databases and mailing lists of relevant contacts and organizations.
- Ensure timely and efficient procurement of goods and services for events.
- Enhance our reputation as a successful host for community events and festivals.
- Contribute to the diverse range of events to meet community requirements.
- Support Council-led events and approved external community-led events.
