Dynamic Acute Stroke and Medical Care Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Acute Stroke Unit / Acute Medical Unit. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced nurse to work in a fast-paced environment, providing quality care to patients.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will work within a supportive team of dedicated nurses and multidisciplinary professionals, providing high-quality patient-centred care. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering evidence-based care to patients with acute stroke and medical conditions
- Working collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve positive patient outcomes
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A current registration with AHPRA
- A Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent qualification
- At least 3 years of experience in an acute hospital setting
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to ongoing professional development
