Primary School Groundsperson Wanted

The Department of Education, South Australia seeks a Temporary Groundsperson to fill the position.
Responsibilities- Maintain outdoor areas of the school, including gardens, trees, natural play/learning spaces and sports fields.
- Manage irrigation systems across the school and children's centre.
- Remove litter and hazards from around the site.
- Perform general handyperson tasks such as repairing locks, furniture and flyscreens.
- Ability to coordinate and develop school grounds and facilities with limited supervision.
- Experience in maintaining safe and engaging grounds environments and use of grounds tools while ensuring workplace health and safety obligations are met.
- Experience with horticultural requirements, irrigation maintenance and appropriate use of chemicals and fertilizers.
- Essential driver's license for this role.
