Groundsperson Specialist

We are currently seeking a Groundsperson to join our facilities team at Raging Waters Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional park presentation within the grounds while enhancing its aesthetic appeal and ensuring public safety.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in hard and soft landscaping, including design, construction, and rejuvenation. They will also be proficient in using various vehicles, tools, and machinery for regular landscaping and maintenance tasks.

• Landscaping and Maintenance: Perform a range of hard and soft landscaping tasks, including mowing, edging, brush cutting, pruning, weeding, mulching, turfing, planting, hedging, and other general gardening duties.
• Pest and Weed Control: Assist in identifying, eradicating, and controlling pests, weeds, and diseases in the grounds.
• Vehicle and Equipment Operation: Use various vehicles, tools, and machinery on a regular basis for landscaping and maintenance tasks.
• Irrigation System Management: Assist with the use and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure optimal water efficiency.
• Work Order Completion: Complete work orders to a high standard within set deadlines.

• Manual Driver's License: Hold a valid manual driver's license.
• High School Certificate: Possess a High School certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Fluent English: Be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Previous Experience: Have previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
