Job Title

Senior Property Officer Position

Key Role Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional client-centric services by fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Provide administrative support for in-house property services, including mail management, meeting room setup, vehicle allocation, and logistical coordination.
  • Manage the execution of major and minor property fit-out projects under the supervision of an Assistant Director.
  • Support the Assistant Director in delivering strategic property planning and mandatory reporting to regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee sub-contractors and outsource services providers, ensuring performance meets key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements.
  • Assist the Assistant Director in domestic leasing and international leasing administration tasks.
  • Manage facilities requests through the property services provider's helpdesk and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Offer technical expertise in property and facilities management areas and provide advisory support to the Assistant Director.
  • Prioritize and contribute to the development of operational strategies for facilities services, asset management plans, and programs.
  • Lead procurement processes for engaging contractors to deliver fit-out works, adhering to Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in at least one property-related discipline.
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience managing property, preferably within the Australian Government.
