Job Opportunity: Heavy Goods Driver

Position Overview:

This is a critical role within our operations, requiring a skilled and safety-conscious individual to manage the transportation of goods.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy vehicles in accordance with road traffic regulations
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Conduct pre-and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers regarding delivery schedules and requirements
  • Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and optimize productivity
  • Perform administrative tasks as required, including reporting and documentation
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures at all times
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Work collaboratively with other drivers to achieve team objectives

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid heavy vehicle license
  • Proven experience in heavy goods driving
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
