We're looking for an experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Sydney CBD. As a key member of our support team, you will provide value-added technical phone and email support to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring excellence in customer service and driving the growth of James Hardie.

The Opportunity

You'll be reporting to the Technical Support & Claims Manager and working closely with the internal Sales, Customer Service, and Products teams. Your day-to-day will involve speaking with customers, including architects, builders, distributors, and internal teams.

  • Provide AU-wide technical support utilising internal methods and technologies for builders, architects, salespeople, and the general public
  • Professionally respond (verbal or written) to external and internal technical enquiries to ensure risk minimization
  • Offer Level 1 to Level 3 phone and email technical support to all internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist the claims department in completing the claims process
  • Manage our Take-Off service, ensuring all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met
What You'll Bring
  • Tertiary qualifications in Building, Engineering (Civil), or Architecture
  • Experience within the trade or building industry is highly desirable but not necessary
  • A team player with customer service experience, ideally in a call centre environment
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management skills and multitasking ability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), with an aptitude to learn new software and systems
