Job Title: Sustainability Leader for Personal Care and Beauty

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our sustainability initiatives in personal care and beauty. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving sustainable practices across product development, manufacturing, and supply chains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies aligned with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and launch eco-friendly products, packaging, and formulations.
  • Liaise with suppliers to negotiate contracts that promote environmentally responsible sourcing and production methods.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities for innovation.
  • Communicate key sustainability metrics and goals to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Promote a culture of sustainability within the organization, fostering employee engagement and awareness.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years' experience in sustainability, regulatory compliance, or related field (ACCC, TGA, EU/UK preferred).
  • Proven expertise in developing and implementing successful sustainability strategies.
  • Leadership skills, with ability to coach and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A proactive, innovative mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
