Job Opportunity:

A Rotating Engineer is required to join a multi-discipline team focused on improving asset integrity and reducing operational risk.

This 18 month contract role is based in Perth with regular travel to site, providing an excellent opportunity to develop production engineering and planning expertise.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading modifications to reduce safety, environmental, regulatory, and financial risks. You will also provide input into HAZOP/LOPA workshops, ART forums, FP investigations, and respond to engineering queries.

The ideal candidate will have a degree-qualified background in Rotating Engineering, ENG competency per WM0000PG, and/or PSM Knowledge Level per WM0000PG. They will also possess strong knowledge of risk identification, management of change, and rotating asset maintenance, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage OPEX and CAPEX modifications to mitigate risks
  • Contribute to HAZOP/LOPA workshops, ART forums, and FP investigations
  • Lead external service providers through scope definition, budgeting, and schedule tracking
  • Support frontline engineering through assessments, investigations, and leave/turnaround coverage
  • Collaborate with planning engineering on maintenance strategies, procedure updates, and technical reviews
Requirements:
  • Rotating Engineering degree qualification
  • ENG competency or PSM Knowledge Level
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Strong knowledge of risk management and rotating asset maintenance
