Event Management Opportunity

Leverage your experience in large-scale event delivery to take the lead on a premier agrifood innovation and technology event.

We are seeking an experienced Event Manager to deliver a flagship event that showcases the best of agrifood innovation and drives real connections and investment.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex events, with strong stakeholder engagement skills and leadership capability.

About the Role
  • Owning the end-to-end delivery of the event and its side events.
  • Managing suppliers to ensure world-class delivery.
  • Overseeing logistics, venues, exhibitors, theming, merchandise, and on-the-ground execution.
  • Driving the Startup Program – from applications through to onboarding and post-event reporting.
  • Built high-value relationships across startup, scaleup, investor, corporate, government, and international networks.
  • Supervising and mentoring team members.
  • Maintaining tight budgets and timely reporting.
Requirements
  • 5+ years’ experience delivering large-scale, complex events.
  • Qualifications in event management, project management, communications, business, or similar.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and leadership capability.
  • Proven ability to juggle competing priorities and deliver under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate confidently and secure outcomes.
  • A self-starter with initiative, attention to detail, and a can-do attitude.
