Ageing Care Traineeship

This trainee position offers a nationally recognised Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) and is designed to equip you with the skills needed to support ageing people.

As an Individual Support trainee, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support ageing people with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing and grooming
  • Assist with light domestic duties and meal preparation
  • Transport ageing people to appointments and social activities
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Promote independence and dignity amongst ageing people

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be warm, respectful and compassionate. You will also require a current driver's licence and a reliable vehicle that passes a Vehicle Safety Checklist.

We are seeking individuals who have a genuine desire to learn and care for others. No prior experience is necessary, just a willingness to learn and grow in this rewarding career.
