Job Description

The Production Planner plays a pivotal role in ensuring the on-time delivery of products by coordinating activities across production, engineering, and purchasing departments. This ensures that all necessary information and materials are available prior to releasing orders for manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will have a four-year technical degree or six years of experience in a project-based, manufacturing organization utilizing JIT, MRP, CRP, Lean, and ISO 9000 processes.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and verifying drawing and material availability prior to release for manufacture, coordinating with schedulers, staging and completing materials, and tracking progress to schedule.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with JIT, MRP, CRP, Lean, and ISO 9000 processes
  • Proficient with MS Project, Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
