Job Opportunity: Senior Project Officer

Job Description:

The role of the Senior Project Officer involves providing project management and delivery expertise to support the implementation of departmental initiatives.

This is a challenging and complex position with competing demands in a dynamic environment. The successful applicant will be working with staff in each of the regions to improve patient flow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and coordination.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify and address system barriers and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience and expertise in project management and delivery, together with strong organisational skills and ability to plan, coordinate and be responsible for several concurrent project activities.
  • Strategic, conceptual, analytical and creative skills, including the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with diverse backgrounds.
  • High-level interpersonal and oral communication skills, including the ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders and effectively communicate and resolve complex issues.
