About the Role

As part of a large international team, you will work on wall-bound flows and turbulent boundary layer control. The project primarily comprises experiments in wind tunnel and mathematical modelling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of a novel passive flow control method using micro-perforated surfaces.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and conduct experiments in wind tunnels.
  • Apply advanced mathematical modelling techniques to develop specific design solutions.
  • Supervise honours, masters, and Ph D students.
Requirements
  • Ph D in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
  • Strong track record of research accomplishments, including publications in high-quality journals.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with wind tunnels and flow measurement devices.
  • Demonstrated experience in experimental measurement and mathematical modelling of boundary layer flows.
