Job Title: Data Architect

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Data Architect to join our team. As a key member of our data management team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data models for reporting teams to create interactive reports using Qlik Sense.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer science, information technology, or a similar field, with experience in working with relational and dimensional databases. You will work closely with stakeholders to deliver timely and accurate information and uphold high standards in data management practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with data engineers and reporting teams to gather requirements for database, data flows, and data model designs.
  • Manage competing priorities, providing advice and status reports to the team about project dependencies and deliverables.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to ensure the provision of high quality and timely models and documentation.
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues in operational areas to understand their data needs.
  • Using specialist data manipulation, analysis, and visualisation tools such as SQL Server and Qlik Sense.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary degree or equivalent work experience in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.
