Data Model Architect

Overview:

The Data Model Architect will be responsible for designing and developing efficient, maintainable and cost-effective databases to support business processes and objectives.

Responsibilities:

- Develop data management design artefacts, including mapping documents for builds in support of business processes and objectives.

- Design and develop databases that are scalable, secure and meet business requirements.

- Prepare and maintain data management documentation, including data models, data flows and system interfaces.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.

- 3-5 years experience in database design and development, with a strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

- 5+ years experience in data modelling, with a strong understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence solutions.

- Structured analysis and design skills, with experience in data architecture and data governance.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
