Training Officer, Indigenous Cultural Intellectual Property Specialist

The Murray-Darling Basin Authority is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Training Officer, Indigenous Cultural Intellectual Property to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering training programs that promote cultural capability and safety within our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Deliver Training Programs: Design and implement training programs that enhance the cultural capability and safety of MDBA staff and contractors.
- Policy and Data Management: Develop and deliver training materials to support the implementation of the Indigenous Cultural Intellectual Property Policy and Data Management Framework.
- Cultural Capability and Safety: Provide training and support to ensure that MDBA staff and contractors have the necessary cultural capability and safety skills to work effectively with First Nations communities.
- Assessment and Reporting: Assess participant competency levels and provide written reports on their progress.
- Collaboration with Traditional Owners: Work closely with Traditional Owners to develop and deliver training programs that meet their needs and expectations.
