Secondary School Educator Wanted

The School is seeking a passionate, experienced educator to join our committed staff as the Head of Department for Christian Development.


This is a full-time, permanent position commencing with flexibility to start Term 4, 2025.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach secondary school students in Years 7-12 and Stage 6 Studies of Religion.
  • Develop and implement new curriculum and syllabuses.
  • Lead in curriculum development and implementation.
  • Collaborate with the Christian Development / Chaplaincy team.

Requirements:
  • Experienced educator with recent engagement in teaching Christian Development.
  • Theologically qualified at Diploma level or higher.
  • Knowledgeable of recent developments in pedagogy and senior secondary studies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Confident in using technology to enhance learning.
  • Understanding and commitment to the School's Christian mission, values, and ethos.

Previous experience teaching International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) is highly desirable.
